im puttingthe diffrence betwe a tropical fish tank in my sons room. what makes en a tropcal fish tank than from a community fish tank? does it really matter what i put in the tanks? or is it just the food thats diffrent?

have a canister filter, need to know how to unhook from tank and change/clean what have you, with out the mess plsss help!
filter is a fluval 403, I have since put it in a bucket.

We’re moving in a couple of months and it just dawned on me that I have to transport my 2 tanks. Please keep in mind I have live plants and both tanks are stocked with fish.
What is the best way to move them?
Should I keep the water or just fill them with new water?
Where’s the best place to keep the fish until the tanks are reestablished?
Anything else I should keep in mind?
