Is it worth breeding bettas to sell?

I would love to breed something new. I have a betta and read everything possible about breeding. What a lot of pet shops be interested? I don't care to much about the money but as you cant house males together, would they be interested as they might not have enough tanks?
Elena - work is my only time after that I have a lot of it, money isnt a problem and im talking about pet shops not asking people to take them.
