Betta Fish turning white?
My Betta has been losing color starting with the fins and now a patch behind his gills. At first I thought it might be fin rot, as it was only the upper fin (the one on his back). It turned sickly and white and taking the advice of another answer here I cleaned the tank and added Maracyn-Two for fin rot. His Fin has returned to his normal strength you could say but the color is still spreading.
I don't really know what It could be, he shows all the signs of a healthy Betta according to http://www.bettatalk.com/betta_diseases.htm minus the color of course.
Any help would be appreciated.
Just been looking around more for any information and found this:

For Ick it says, "white spots that almost make the fish look like it’s been salted" but what mind has is more like the picture under fin rot. only my Betta is dark blue with the white patches.
If that is the case and it really was fin rot "Once the damage is halted, the betta can regenerate its fins, although they probably won’t return completely to their normal size or coloration"
