What is the best way to move a 29 gallon fish tank?

We’re moving in a couple of months and it just dawned on me that I have to transport my 2 tanks. Please keep in mind I have live plants and both tanks are stocked with fish.

What is the best way to move them?

Should I keep the water or just fill them with new water?

Where’s the best place to keep the fish until the tanks are reestablished?

Anything else I should keep in mind?
